Port Douglas

Yesterday, Mum, Cejae and I flew up to Cairns, where we met Dad, who drove up. We then drove to Port Douglas.

When we arrived, we went on a Chinese Junket Boat.

Today, we went on a day tour, where we looked at lots of creeks, beaches, and the Daintree Rainforest.

There was also a cruise, where we saw two crocodiles! This is Lumpy.

This tree is called a Strangler Fig. It wraps around another tree until it dies, leaving a cool hole in the middle of the Fig.

One of the beaches. At this one, we tried Green Ants. You hold their head and lick their green body, which tastes very tingly.

This is at one of the creeks we went to. Our tour guide for the day, Rod, showed us out to make paint with Ochre.

Tomorrow, we’ll be driving to Cooktown. Stay tuned!
