Mindil Beach Sunset Markets

Yesterday dad wanted to go barramundi fishing, so we booked a place called barramundi adventures for two hours. Turns out the first two hours were boring. Only two people caught a fish. We tried with a jiggly silicone fish and a shrimp but the barramundi would look at it, then swim away. In the last 15 minutes, they brought out some dog food and threw it in the water. Within seconds, it was gone. We all but the pellets on our hooks and we all caught fish. All together, I caught four, but only managed to get one out of the water.
48cm! The biggest one was 89cm!

The barramundi feeding took up the whole morning so we went to the Humpty Doo Hotel for lunch. Apparently the NT Government said kids couldn't go in the bar so we had to sit outside. After lunch, we went to this free water park. We went on the waterslides for majority of the time. My favourite was the one with a tube for two people. It was green and the inside it was pitch black with coloured glowing rings. Cejae's favourite was a fast slide that was really dark and narrow.

We spent the whole afternoon at the waterpark because it was so fun.
Next, we went to the Mindil Beach Sunset Markets for dinner. We walked around all the stalls and Cejae bought some things for her friend in Adelaide and then we bought dinner. I had a spiral spud on a stick. It was really yummy. Then we went down to the beach. I collected Hermit Crabs while Cejae made a massive mandala in the sand.

The sunset was very nice but in Darwin it can take less than a minute for the sun to go down.

Then it was time for dessert. I had mini pancakes, which were really yummy.
Then we had a dip in the pool at the caravan park and went to bed.
