Another day in Coober Pedy
Yesterday we had breakfast at the Downunder Café. After breakfast, we went to Crocodile Harry's underground house. It was very weird, so we didn't stay there for long.
Then, we went on a tour around a lady called Faye's underground house. Faye bought a house but didn't realise the property came with the mine until she bought it. She turned the mine into a tourist attraction and Faye and two of her friends dug the whole house by hand!
There was also a pool inside of her house.
Then we had a look at that the mine. There were divining rods and the tour guide let us use them. Since I was shorter, the rods crossed over a lot!
Dad wasn't convinced though. Then it was lunchtime so we headed to the underground pub. It was a big rock put into the middle of the building with shops carved into it. After lunch, Mum wanted to go to the cemetery so she and Dad went to the cemetery while Cejae and I stayed at the caravan. Then, Callun (Dad's friend from his adventra group on Facebook) came to the caravan park we were staying in and we all went to the Big Winch. We went into this 360° cinema to learn about explorers way and Coober Pedy.
