Mount Hotham
Yesterday, we headed to Mount Hotham. Once we got there, I went down a slope I didn't know well. When I got to the bottom, I took a ski lift back up, and after asking a few people (and about half an hour) I found my way back to the main area. I waited about 20 minutes, and there was still no sign of Mum, Dad, or Cejae, so I headed to the reception to ask to call Mum or Dad. We couldn't reach them, so the lady put something on Mum's card so that next time she went on a ski lift, she would be alerted that I was at the reception. After waiting a little bit longer, Mum came.
While Mum went on a beginner slope, Dad, Cejae and I went on one together. We found one that we liked, the summit, so we did a few runs on that, before coming back to get lunch at the café.
Then, we did a few more runs on the summit, before trying a steeper one, which was fun.
We did a few more runs on the Summit, before starting to head home. Turns out, someone didn't put on their wheel chains, and crashed, so the road was closed. We headed into the bar to have a drink, and waited a while before heading back to the caravan park.
The weather was strange. There was barely any visibility. Occasionally, the fog cleared but it just came back even thicker. It even snowed, which was really cool!
Then, we dropped off the skis we hired, and headed out for tea. After a while of looking around, we only found one open place that didn't need a booking, which was actually pretty good. It was called Burgerville. Then, we headed to Bright Brewery for a drink, before heading to bed.
Stay tuned for tonight's post, today we are going to Mount Buffalo to have a play, and then we'll be going to some towns to explore.
