South Australia, New South Wales, Queensland…

Today, we had an early start to drive to Cameron Corner. We stopped at Packsaddle for morning tea, and Tibooburra for lunch. One of the pubs we went to in Tibooburra had a line of gold in the bar! After lunch, the road was very rocky, so the car kept rocking around! We also stopped at a lookout, where we learnt about the dog fence and local wildlife.

We also saw some cool sculptures of a camel, bilby and a bandicoot. They were made out of wire! My favourite was the bilby.

After the long bumpy ride, we arrived in Cameron Corner, which is the corner where the borders of SA, QLD, and NSW meet. We went and had a look at the marker in the exact corner, and walked from state to state, which was really cool!

Then, we went to the Cameron Corner pub and had dinner, before going to bed.

Tomorrow, we’ll be driving to either Birdsville or Innamincka, depending on what the day brings. Look out for a post tomorrow!
